Product Description
The VCI sachets’ robust formula offers protection against acid gases and contaminants, making ActivPak® suitable for safeguarding metals during operation, storage, and aggressive manufacturing and shipping conditions. Furthermore, they are quick and easy to install. At first, simply remove the ActivPak® VCI sachet from the packaging, place it in the desired location, and tightly seal the enclosure or packaging to trap the vapors inside.

ActivPak® VCI sachets feature cutting-edge Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI), Volatile Flash Corrosion Inhibitor (FCI™) that rapidly shields ferrous and aluminum metals for up to 2 years‡ in a sealed enclosure. Moreover, this technology effectively combats flash rust and long-term corrosion through progressive VCI chemistry that settles onto exposed metal surfaces inside the packaging or enclosure. Once removed from the packaging or enclosure, the VCI will dissipate from the metal surfaces, allowing immediate painting, welding, or further processing. It is important to note that ActivPak® VCI sachets should be used in accordance with the recommended guidelines. Prior to implementation, it is advisable to conduct a test.
