ZERUST®/EXCOR® ActivDri™ FAD12-1 Desiccant VCI Capsule protects metals in hard-to-reach areas of enclosed spaces by utilizing Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI) to prevent corrosion and a silica-gel desiccant to combat humidity that affects metals and electronics in corrosive environments such as salty air or power plants.

Product Description
ZERUST® ActivDri™ FAD12-1 Desiccant VCI Capsules are easy to install as they feature a durable coated steel cable to aid in inserting and retrieving the unit from the center of a void space. Additionally, the cable is affixed to the capsule at multiple points to provide a secure hold during use. After installation, tightly seal the enclosure to trap the protective vapors inside.

ActivDri™ FAD12-1 diffuses invisible, odorless, and non-toxic ZERUST® VCI molecules that settle onto exposed metal surfaces inside the enclosure. Upon removal from the enclosure, the VCI will dissipate from the metal surfaces, allowing immediate use or final assembly. ActivDri™ FAD12-1 protects ferrous and aluminum against corrosion for up to 1 year‡ in a sealed enclosure. Additionally, ActivDri™ FAD12-1 protects yellow metals such as copper and brass when used as instructed.
